Lurching at 1,000 rpm

I am headed to pick my car up from dealer for 3rd time, same issue. When slowing, car suddenly lurches at 1,000 or 900 RPM's, feels like someone hit a brake pedal and sends passengers and car lurching forward. 1st time they could not replicate problem, I picked up and within 15 miles it reappeared so I drove staright to dealer and had service manager ride with me, it did it before we left the lot. Left car and they replaced Transmission Control Module. Picked up and within 18 miles, same issue. They have had for a week, did some sort of reset and I'm on my way to get it. Very frustrating, I'll post official work done when I get paperwork

My first guess would be the TCM as well. Let us know what happens. Might want to PM Dave at DDM as well. He might have come across something like that before.

A friends truck, a Dodge, was doing this. It was the throttle position sensor (TPS).
