I've been a member of the Skyroadster forum for a while, and just found this one. I'm interested in local events, I would love to get together with other Sky/Solstice owners.

Welcome aboard. Our next event is the open house at DDM Works on October 24th. Some of the fun stuff they will have for you to enjoy: Food, Drinks, DDMWorks Installations, Custom Tunes, Car wash stations, The “Dent Guy”, and much more! Even if you are not looking to do any upgrades this is a great opportunity to meet other local owners and learn just about everything there is to know about your kappa.

I will be leaving early Saturday AM to head up there. I have to go thru Gainesville so if you're interested and would like to meet up with me to caravan just let me know.

After years and years of Town Car and Grand Marquis vehicles, I purchased a great new car...a Georgia Red & Black Sky! While I am not a super car enthusiast, I do love the car...and would like to learn about modifications I can add to the car...the horn is not strong enough and I would like to find a great luggage carrier. Plus, if there are activities in the Southeast, I would like to particiapte.

I stopped by DDM today on my way back from Charlotte and they are working very hard to make this the best Open House ever.

We need to go up I-85 N so if we all meet at 85 and 441 I don't think anyone will have to back track. According to Yahoo maps there is a Shell station if you're going north and turn right off of the exit. Let's plan to meet there. If for some reason yahoo is wrong there is a Racetrac on the other side of the bridge that will be our backup plan.

The open house starts at noon and we are an hour and a half away at that point so lets plan on meeting at 10am to give ourselves a little cushion and a fashionably early arrival. :p

Dr. Carl - you have my number feel free to call if you have any issues.
dragonsky - I'll PM it to you and the same goes call me if you have issues.

Dragonsky - I hope you enjoyed your first PSKC outing. It was very nice to meet you, I hope we can meet the wife soon. Also wanted to tell you that you can follow me anytime. I was very comfortable having you behind me and trust me when I say, for me, that's huge!!

It was great to meet you as well, and I had a great time! Everyone was so nice, and I felt very welcome there. I hadn't been to a car club event in years, so it was great to be around "car people" again, and it definitely reignited the modding bug in my head, lol. I'm already putting together a list of mods, and I will certainly be making more trips to DDMWorks, that's for sure!

I also felt very comfortable driving with you, I just wish we had some twisties to carve on the way. I knew you could pull away from me anytime you wanted to, so I tried to hang close. Thanks for not making my NA Sky look slow! I'm looking forward to going to more events.
