Southeastern Meet in the Mountains 2010

It's time to officially announce the 2010 Southeastern Meet. Prost!

Beer, brats, bands and Liederhosen.
This years meet will be held in beautiful Helen, Ga. just in time for Oktoberfest 2010.


When: September 23 - 27, 2010

Where: Unicoi State Park and Lodge

A group block has been made and you can now call to reserve.

Group Reservation is under the name Southeastern Meet or you can give the code 03695. Reservations cannot be made thru the internet they must be made by calling.

The rate is $105 for Thursday night and $135 for Friday and Saturday.

We took a drive up there on October 25th and went ahead and made our reservations. It is a really nice place. Here's some pictures.

Looking forward to this, I will make my reservations soon at Unicoi, Do I also need to register myself for this event through PSKC?
I was unable to see the Photos (I work for Mickey Mouse and he blocks Photo Bucket), but been up to Helen many times.

Final preparations have been made with the hotel and the menu has been set.

Here is the itinerary so far.

Thursday arrive at Unicoi.
*Registration
*Free night, explore Helen and the roads around town.
*Vendors will also be available for onsite installs.

Friday
*Planned runs. (Details to come later)
*A bus has been reserved to take everyone into Helen to Festhalle for dinner and the Oktoberfest celebration.

This is an ala carte item and a small fee will be required ($10-$15 depending on what kind of deal we can work with the bus)

Saturday
*Planned runs. (Details to come later)
*Banquet at Unicoi (This is included in the registration fee)
Dinner is a buffet with the following items:
Trout
London Broil
Shrimp in a garlic sauce
Veggies
Salad Bar
Dessert Bar
Non-alcoholic beverages
Beer and Wine available in the restaurant bar


The registration fee for this event has been set at $35.00 per person. Again this includes the banquet, event t-shirt and an administration fee to cover the cost of the banquet room.

This is going to be an awesome event. Helen is absolutely beautiful and N. Georgia has some of the prettiest twisty roads anywhere in the south. Not to mention it's the first weekend of Oktoberfest!

Hey Kim---Made reservations at the Lodge---Check will be on the way to you in the next day or so.---BTW, you didn't mention anything about shirt sizes so I will write the size I need (XL) on the check.
