Once again we have been invited to join the Triumph club in their annual Polar Bear Run.

Saturday, December 26th. 10:00am

The day will begin with a gathering and drivers’ meeting at Starbuck’s at the corner of Alpharetta Highway and Mansell Road in Roswell. Be there about 9:00 AM to see the cars and meet the other participants. We’ll plan to queue up for the drive shortly after 10:00.

As always, driving directions will be provided to each participant. There’s no need to “follow the leader,” so each group is free to travel at a comfortable pace and make stops as necessary. We’ll do our best to point out attractions and rest areas along the way. You’ll be on your own once you arrive at our destination, Barnsley Gardens Resort, which is located near I-75, US 41, and GA 140.

They are planning on having lunch there and most will be staying the night. I cannot stay and may do an extra run over to Rome (just cause I've never been there).

Last one was great so will be going on this one also. I will not be staying over night as only 35 miles from my house.

It's also bad timing for me. I've got family coming in that day.

By the way, when I think "Polar Bears," I think of the people who go swimming in freezing cold lakes in the dead of winter. Is this "Polar Bear Run" the equivalent for convertibles? Do you do the drive with the top down? :eek:

Well yes and no. We are joining in with the Triumph club and they have no choice but to go topless. We on the other hand have a choice and last year I did drive with the top up. :cool:
